Email can be forwarded to another email address you
already have or you can retrieve it via our POP server. You can set up your email
account at HubNut via the Personal Control Panel. We us POP authenticated
SMTP - this means you will need to POP your email account
before you can send mail via the our SMTP gateway. POP3/SMTP Email Account There are lots of different email clients available that support the mail servers we use at HubNut (POP3/SMTP) including Microsoft Outlook, Eudora and Pegasus Mail. You will need to ensure that the following information is entered into your mail program.
Please note that emails addressed to admin, root, sys, postmaster, nobody will be directed to our system operators. Email Forwarding Email forwarding is a way of sending mail to one email address (for example sales@yourdomain.co.uk) and having it automatically forwarded to another address (e.g. yourname@yourisp.co.uk). Email forwarding may be set up via the Personal Control Panel. Email Aliases An unlimited number of aliases may be configured on the mail account. Catchall Address It is possible to set up a 'catch-all-address' on your account. Simply add the alias '@www.yourdomain.com' . This will collect all email sent to the domain.
Autoresponder / Vacation Reply An auto responder can be set up, once activated if an email is sent to this address it will instantly respond with a custom email set by yourself, e.g. 'Thanks for emailing, we will reply shortly'. Autoresponders can be activated from the Personal Control Panel.
HubNut Limited does not allow spamming of any kind through its servers. This includes sending mail through another companies server promoting a domain name that is hosted on our servers. |
